LAUNCH SERVICE
Mattakeesett offers launch service to individual boats in Duxbury Harbor. We service boats moored in the Snug Harbor Deep Water and Snug Harbor Basin Flats anchorages. Our two launches, Twig and Bender, operate from the town dock at the Duxbury Town Pier.
Launch service runs 7 days per week from Memorial Day to Labor Day and on weekends through September. To request a ride, launch service pass holders can hail Mattakeesett launch drivers on VHF Channel 10.

LAUNCH SERVICE PASSES
2025 Season Pass: $550
The 2025 Mattakeesett Launch Season Pass is available for purchase. The Season Pass includes unlimited trips and passengers to and from the boat it is purchased for. The 2025 Launch Season Pass is non-transferrable and valid for use during the 2025 season only.
Launch service area is limited to deep water and basin flats moorings. We do not service Two Rock. Service hours are subject to change without notice.
2025 Day Pass 10-Pack: $400
The 2025 Mattakeesett Launch Day Pass 10-Pack is available for purchase. The Day Pass 10-Pack includes 10 single-day launch passes with unlimited trips and passengers to and from boat for a single day. The Launch Day Pass 10-Pack is non-transferrable and valid for use during the 2025 season only.

Duxbury Harbor is a small, tidal harbor with about 580 total moorings. Only about 25% of moorings are accessible at all tides due to limited deep water, so the majority of boat owners must ‘work the tide’ to ensure there is adequate water to access their boat.
To align with tidal access, weekday launch service (Monday–Thursday) will follow modified hours: 4 hours before and 4 hours after high tide, between 8 am and 8 am, providing approximately 8–9 hours of service daily. On weekends (Friday–Sunday) through Labor Day, launch service will operate on a full schedule: 8 am – 8 pm.
